Restoring WINNT Folder

Hi,

I think my RAS is corrupt and have tried everything to get it up and going to no avail.

I have a backup of the Winnt folder, can I just simply restore it to a state prior to when it stopped working and it will all be fine again?

Please help.

Ohh
I would NOT! recomend to restore the winnt folder, you will probably crash something else or fail with that operation.

What you can do, is to restore the winnt folder redirected to a temporary folder.

Then maybe you can manually copy the files needed for RAS efter you have stopped the "Remote acess services" depending on the OS you have the files are different, so i can not help you there.

I realy hope you did not restore the Winnt catalog, witch may lead to corrupt registry and lots of other errors.
