Hi
I'm trying to restore my SBS 2003 SP1 Std. using Backup Exec 10d ( for
sbs).
So Basically my backup list looks like this: full backup:
- C:
- E:
- Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes
- Microsoft Exchange Public Folders
- Microsoft SQL Server 'Backupexec'
- Microsoft SQL Server 'Antivirus'
- Microsoft SQL Server 'SbsMonitoring'
- Microsoft SQL Server 'Sharepoint'
- Microsoft Information Store
- Shadow Copy Components
I've followed the recovery procedure from an article 243037 - How to
perform a local recovery of a Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Small
Business Server
According to the article I've installed everything as it says : basic
install windows 2003 sbs, sp1, formatted partitions as a previous
installation ... to the point when I was ready to restore:
1. logical drives + shadow copy components ... that went ok
2. restore exchange databases ... that went fine as well.
3. restoring sql 2000 instances and databases (as it states in the
article) ... and now I'm not sure how to proceed this part. They say to
install Microsoft SQL 2000 Server and launch SQL Enterprise Manager... ,
but I didn't have these installed before (I have only SBS Std).
Basically what I would need some help with is: how to get back these 4
instances (see above).
If you could help me it would be great.
Cheers
