My Boss has just taken delivery of a brand new shiny Sony Vaio. He also has a six gigabyte Amacom flipdisk. Apparently,he inserted the flipdisk into the Vaio and once Windows 2000 recognised the drive as an atapi device, without any intervention from him went away and performed what appeared to be Scandisk. The end result is a drive with 10000 .chk files which he doesn't know how to recover.
I think we are screwed but does anyone know idf there is any way of recovering these files to their former state.
Thanks in advance
