Restoring RMAN backup from one database server to another

Hello,
I have a situation where my main database server has a serious hardware problem which cannot be resolved quickly. I do have another system with a oracle 10g database server installed with a data instance with the same name and path to data files is the same as the main server that went down.

What I would like to do is restore a RMAN backup from the main to the secondary server. Is this possible given that the secondary server has datafiles with the same name as the ones in the backup?

What is the procedure to do this?
