I usually setup a virtual machine and install Outlook to restore my old archived emails but I'm looking for a faster solution. Is there a faster way by restoring them to my current outlook and then removing it so It doesn't interfere with my normal emails? or would I have to remove everything an email at a time?

You can open a backup/archive copy of the Outlook.PST file in Outlook (File >> Open or similar steps) and then drag and drop from those folders to your other folders. I would just rename the outlook.pst file to something like Backup.PST so when it's open, you can tell which one is the "live" mailbox vs. the backup.

Do you have an Exchange server in the picture? Where are the files being restored to when you restore them? If there is an Exchange server, they can all be imported directly with Powershell rather than having to bring Outlook into the picture.

Can you be a bit more specific about what you are trying to do? Do you not want the old emails mixed with the new ones? What is slow about the VM solution? What does "interfering" mean? And where does "remove everything" come into the picture? It's all pretty vague.
