Dear Friends,
Happy to be in this group. This is my first query in SQL Sever section.
I had taken a backup of SQL SERVER data till yesterday evening (let us call it BACKUP-1). Then I deleted complete data from server. Then new data was fed since today morning. I have taken a backup of this as well (let us call it BACKUP-2).
Now, I wan't the old data (BACKUP-1) to be restored and then, after that, the new as well (BACKUP-2) so that I will have the complete data, ie both BACKUP-1 and BAKCUP-2, which will be since beginning till this moment.
How can I do this? Is there any way?
(I assume, if I use the RESTORE option of Management Studio, it will erase the existing data and restore from the backup file. This is NOT what I want. I want the first data and the second data also)
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Thanks in advance
Rajesh
