Restoring From BE 11 on a BE 9 System

Hello,

Does any one know if recovering an LTO2 tape saved with BackupExec 11 on a system running BackupExec 9.1 is possible?



Or, is 9.1 forward compatible with 11.0? All I'm backing up are files-- no Exchange or other modules/plugins.


This is on a Windows 2003 Server platform.

No you cant the on tape catalog is different. You can catalog/restore a 9.1 tape in 11d server only. Not the other way around
