I have a two part question in regards to trying to restore an Exchange 2003 mailbox to the Recovery Storage Group. I am backing up Exchange 2003 using BE 9.1 remotely with the Backup Exec Exchange agent. The backups are working fine with no problem.

I now need to restore one users mailbox and I am attempting to restore it to the Recovery Storage Group. I created the RSG and added my Exchange Database to it. Now when I go into BE to do the restore I see no options for pointing the restore to the RSG. Has anyone done this before and if so does the restore automatically go to the RSG or do you have to specify that somewhere?

Second part of the question is this, I tried to run the restore even though I wasn't sure of the location that BE would try to restore to. The job failed with an Access Denied error. Made me think that it was trying to restore to the live Exchange Database but was not able to since it is up and running now.

Thanks for any help!
