Restoring Exchange 2000 to a "recovery" server stops RCP service

I'm trying to restore our Exchange databases to a "recovery" server for testing purposes.

Whenever I try the restore, the Arcserve Backup RPC agent on the recovery server stops, and the restore fails. I have dismounted the stores on Exchange, and the IS service is running.

If I go to restart the Backup RCP agent after the restore attempt fails, it starts wtihout any problems.

Any ideas?

The below doesn't explain the RPC Service Stopping. You should check the Event Viewer for any errors and also the DR Watson log
