I had to reinstall Windows XP over my old installation. The documents and settings folder (with three separate users) had been saved prior to the corruption of the operating system, onto an Iomega USB hard-drive. Now that I have restored Windows XP Pro I'm wondering if there is anyway to restore the Documents and Settings Folder from my backup drive.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

The easiest way is to go to your C:\Documents and Settings folder. Open the folder for the user in question and copy the files in there. You should have each user log on at least once to let XP create a folder for them.
