Restoring DFS Shadow Copy Components

I had trouble backing up DFS Shares so I decided to backup the DfsrReplicatedFolders instead. Now I am trying a restore but it is failing. (I am trying to redirect). Is this possible or a lost cause? Thanks

If you backed up DFS thru shadow copy components - user data then its a DFSR VSS writer backup. You cant re-direct restore. Limitation of BE and writer.
