Restoring an Individual file using Brightstor

I'm trying to restore an individual file using Brightstor 9.x. When I go to the Restore tab, and expand the server that the file is on, I don't see any folders to choose. Can someone explain? Thanks

Maybe the entry about that file was pruned from your DB. Try to merge a tape which contains the data. (Utilities, Merge)

Yes, pakilaci is right. ARCserve doesn't have the individual files listed in it's database so you will need to add them by merging the media back in.

and make sure you select restore by session, or tree - and are not looking at restore by backup media or you'll never see anything :)
