We have been running Crystal Enterprise in a production environment for about 6 months. I'm finally getting around to re-installing the application in our Test Environment and I want to simply move all of the reports and instances from the FRS input and output directories to the Test machine and restore the Crystal APS (CE90) database. The server names in the Production and Test environment are slightly different. Will this work?

Like a charm.

Use the Crystal Import Wizard to move it all. I have copied users, groups, folders, and reports. I did not copy instances, but that is an option from CE8 upwards.

I cannot use Crystal Import Wizard as our Test domain cannot see our Production domain. I just want to move files and restore the database for users, groups, etc. This is important for our disaster recovery as if the production machine goes down there will be no machine to import from. The Crystal Import Wizard does not make sense for disaster recovery.
