restoring a oracle 9i

If I have dmp file which is oracle 9i version. Can I restore that dmp file in oracle 10 g version

Thanks for the reply but if I have physical files from cold backup how to restore the database in that situation

You can only restore physical files from cold backup to SAME version of Oracle.
