restoring a folder under the inbox

running exchange 2000, and arcserve 2000 sp3, when I restore a folder that is under the inbox it restores the folder, but not the mail messages in the folder. Is there a specific way I need to run the restore to get the messages from this folder back?

You must do a restore by tree method, also you must be able to expand the database down into the directory and see "message info etc.." or something like that.

make sure you sp3'd the exchange agent as well, and applied qo06202.caz.
