restoring a 3.7 to different 3.7 cabinet 3

I have a 3.7 with defective hardware backplane. Can I restore everything except key codes to another cabinet that has new keycodes in it? Which item do I select, or do I do all items?

Yes you can. Typically I would select just voice applications and telephony.

Will this work even with a lot of ip trunking and ip sets?

Shouldn't be an issue.

DO NOT RESTORE ANYTHING EXCEPT TELEPHONY AND VOICE APPS. If you restore registry, say bye bye to your drive.

Also, make sure that you have the same core loads and voicemail on the new unit as on the old.

You do not need "new" key codes, you just need to have the old codes regenerated for the new MSC card. If you reuse the MSC card the old codes will work.
