I've got family photos that have been sent to me by e-mail, the problem is that they are scanned photos of badly scanned photos, they have lost their crispness, sharpness, detail. Now I can restore a photo halfway if I can scan the original, it gives something to work with. But, is there a way to get these badly scanned photos back to a state were I can do something with them, get back the detail, or are they lost????????????
