restore?

Hi all,
if i have a backup of the database and someoone drops that databases, then what should i do to restore the database from the backup. i mean step wise. do i need to create the database first again, if yes then what if i don't know how many containers and which tablespaces were there in the database. pl write back soon. thanks for ur help.
