Restore WP8 address book problem 1

I have tried restoring the address book and database from the shared folder in the old files, but when the client try's to use the address book it is still empty.
Can anyone give me some direction on restoring the old address book from my image of the old HD.

It sounds like you just did a copy of the files from one hard disk to the new one instead of ghosting the drive. If so, the address book will be blank because the new drive doesn't have all of the information it needs in order to bring up the addresses properly. In order to get the information that is in the old address book, it is best if you can export the old address book from the old drive and then import it into the address book on the new drive. You will need to put the old drive back in the machine to do this.

You can follow the link below in order to find out how to export the information. Some of the information will not apply since you are not recovering from a corrupted address book, but the export and import principles are the same.
