Restore with only priv1.edb and .stm

I've had one of our Exchange 2000 Servers crash. I have access to the .edb and .stm files and believe them NOT to be corrupt, but I have no other backup.

Is it possible to import these two files into a recovery Exchange 2000 server? Is it just a matter of building one with the same site name, dismounting the default stores, then overwriting these 2 files?

Assuming the files are valid, you can mount them into a recovery server and exmerge the mailboxes out to PST files.

There is also a utility out there that can mount .edb files; Ontrack Powercontrols. I'm sure there are others too.
