Hi,

I have 2 x 36gig disks on solaris platform. Currently the second disk is un-used but I have partitioned the slices. I would like to restore slices back to default , is there a quick process to do this ?

Using format, make slice 2 the whole disk (ie cylinders 0 - <end of disk>) and the others none of it (ie 0 to 0 cylinders). HTH.
