Restore to new device

If i have a a bcm50 that i have configured, can i do a backup and then restore that config file to a new bcm50 with the same hardware?

I am looking for an easy way to copy the config file from one bcm50 to another one.

I have not worked on any BCM 50's however we have done this on over 60 plus new installs on a BCM 400 works great the only issue we ever ran into was when the BCM 400 would come out with the newest PEP's installed we would have to configure one system on the lastest pep level then use that new backup. Just change name. IP's if on a large WAN for remote support.

I do it all the time. The only stipulation is that the one you are copying to must be patched to the same level as the one you copied from.
