I can't seem to restore to a MCD5 controller using Win7

I've checked all of the usual culprits

It works most of the time if I use the xp mode virtual machine

Does anyone know which security setting in Win7 might be blocking the upload?

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

win firewall? What happens when you try to restore? Have you tried to restore direct from C:\?

Have used W7 64 bit to do a MCD 5 install so don't know what your issue might be. You checked the usual suspects and you always know what you are doing so I can't really think what it might be. Don't be offended but..

IIS installed or what are you using for W7 FTP. Don't think its there by default in W7
Shut off windows firewall
shut off any other manufactures firewall that might be present in a VPN ( always have to disable AT&T firewall component before I do an upgrade).
connect directly to front of unit.
can you ftp to the correct folder on your PC form another PC.
Have the IIS home directory setup in IIS to the directory where the datasave is?

Other then that am stumped.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
