You bet! - As long as you the client file index for that save set is still available. In general all NW restores are "Directed Recoveries" - even a local recovery is nothing else but a special view of the general picture.
Details and comfort depend on the operating system and the NW version you use.
Finally: Source and client must be of the same OS family - cross platform recoveries are not supported.
Thank you for your answer...
Networker 6.1.2 and Windows 2000. When I open the Networker User there is no possibility to connect other machine? How can I do it from server?
- Open the Operation menu.
- Select Directed Recover
- Specify Source Client
- Specify Destination Client
- Select your files
- Select more recover options, if necessary
- Click Start
Note:
- You must have the Remote Access Rights to source's file index (to specify in the client setup)
- The destination client must listen to the right NW server computer (edit your ..\nsr\res\servers file)
