Restore Tapes created with MS-Backup ?

Hello

I have installed Arcserve 2000 on a Win2000 Server and need to restore
Tapes that were created with the Win2000-Backup , however i allways
get errors when i try to read the catalag from the tape.
I have stopped all Arcserve Processes , deactivated and activated the
Tape in Hardware-Manager , Management-Console ....

Has somebody a good tip other then deinstall Arcserve ?
