I need to restore a SQL 2000 database from a backup to a different server where it resides when the backup was performed. I was able to restore the database (tables, views, users..) but not the logins; now the users are not associated to any login.

For the backup / restore i use Symantec Backup exec 10d.

How can I restore the database including the logins?
thank you.

I'm not sure if you're restoring a databse from an ERP system like MAS500. Typically there is a utility that copies user names and passwords after the database is restored.
