Restore Public folder

Hi All

I am doing an exchange 2000 migration and have introduce new exchange 2000 server in exchange 5.5 site.

At this point exchange 5.5 has only IMS and exchange 2000 is having all the mail boxes & pulic folders.

while accessing public folder on Exchange 2000, one of the user has deleted some public folder & for some reason i cant restore it from tape backup.

While looking for some solution i found my old public folders are still on 5.5 server; is there any way i can copy/move those folders to exchange 2000 again.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't unmount the public store, copy the old one into place, then remount using the new store.
