Restore problems

Hi I'm trying to use Colorado II with a SureStore Dat24 and win 95. I can get the machine to initialize, name identify, erase and back up file(s) onto the tapes. But when i ask it to restore the file(s) back onto my machine it sets away out looking for media, finds media and then starts creating a "temp catalog" then it just seems to stop for 7-8 hours then I pulled the plug. the file size was aprox 92K. Any ideas??
