Restore of Exchange Folder from Brick Level Backup

Please help,

I've been having a difficult time restoring Exchange mailbox information using Arcserve 2000 7.0 AE Build 1086, SP3.

I am successfully running brick level backups but when I try to do a restore of a mailbox folder I get a message that the restore was successful but the activity log tells me that no 0KB restored to disk and of course I don't see any of the mail messages in the mailbox.

I worked hard just to get a successful restore message and now it still doesn't appear to work. I was previously receiving error codes 3150, and 8601 and thought I finally resolved this by reconfiguring and initializing the dbagent. Boy, do I miss BackupExec.

HI,

Use the option "Overwrite Always" when you do restore..

U can do this by right clicking on the brick level in the resotre window.

Thanks, I know exactly what your referring to. I'll try the "overwrite always" option although I believe I did have that particular setting checked and see if that works.
