Restore not showing receipients

I have restored my information store on a test bed in order to restore a mailbox. Once the restore has completed I can not see any of the mail boxes under any of the directories or the recepients, although if i go into the mailbox resources, I can see all the data there, but the GAL and Xmerge does not see anything. I made sure I re-installed SP4 and that all my directories mirror those that are on the production server. Its odd that the information store starts with no errors. Ok Exchange Gurus, here's your chance to shine. Idea's? Thanks in advance.

You should run the ds/is consistency checker manually and your receipients will reappear

Ran into the same problem. I ran the ds/is and the isinteg -patch neither did any good for me. I hope it works better for you. Do you have an old server with a good Directory list? I tried to do a restore on the Directory Store but that just made it worse. You can either give the person the .pst or recreate the missing mailboxes in the Directory. I ended up recreating the list. I talked to Microsoft and they really did not know what was causing it. I also placed a thread out here but no one could really help. Good luck
