Hi, I've got the following dilemma:
A client has Small Business Server 2000 service packed to v1a (exchange to SP3 as required).
The server died. We were called in and could only restore it by carrying out a new install of Small Business Server and then copying data across so, with regards to exchange, we created new users without mailboxes, restored the information store (the same Organisation name was used) and then connected the new users to the old mailboxes, voila, lovely.
However, we have since discovered a "newer" backup from the old server (we were NOT the original maintainers of this system I hasten to add!) and now need to get these more recent mailboxes restored to the server. How the hell do we do that? Will we have to delete all the current mailboxes first (after exporting all the mail to PST's of course) and then restore the newer information store in a similar fashion as before or is there another way of doing it?
Ta muchly you Guru's you....
