Each time I submit a restore job in Arcserve 2000 (Windows 2000 server) it sits there saying "ready" and fails to run. I set it to run immediately.

I have a feeling it may be to do with operator permissions (even though I'm logged in as administrator) but the "profile manager" option is greyed out.

Any ideas on either issue would be most appreciated.

Thankyou.

HI,

Looks like a possible job queue corruption...

Stop the JOb engine...
rename the 00000001.qsd folder.
restart job engine ....
submit the restore...

as for the profile maanger... this feature is not available with AS2000...

cheers

Thanks for your reply. I tried what you said. If I submit the job then stop & restart the job engine, the job runs. However, it won't run unless I stop & restart the job engine. CA suggested that I installed arcserve sp4. Do you have any more ideas up your sleeve?
