Hi, here's the situation. We recently installed a new master server and Storagetek L80 LTO robot. We had to also install a stand alone SDLT drive to accomodate restores from previous SDLT backups. THE PROBLEM: When we go to restore data from an SDLT tape, NBU is looking for the data in the LTO robot not the stand alone SDLT Drive. We cant seem to find a way to tell NBU to grab the data from the stand alone SDLT drive. Keep in mind that our new equipment is running great with apparently no other glitches. Anyone know how we could tell NBU to also look for the data on the drive. Also, the standalone SDLT drive IS recognized by the Master server and NBU.
