The backup appears to work, doesn't fail, says it completes successfully. Shows hundreds of gigabytes backed up.

Now, when I go to restore, and click the "+" next to "Session XXXXX: Server\Path" to view the subdirectories, to drill down to a file to restore, the "+" sign just disappears, nothing expands below it. Click on it, it'll say "XXX,XXX,XXX Kbytes" in the lower right pane.

It's like the files are there, but it won't display them. I just reinitialzed the database a couple days ago too. Problem ocurred before and after the reinitialization.

Stupid question, but did you try Merging it back into the database?

If this is via remote management try doing it local.
Check for updates.
