Restore from r2 to r1 1

Bcm 50 release 2 is toast

I have a replacement that is r1
I migrated the keycodes and I have a backup of the 2.0

Does anyone know if the 1.0 will let me restore it with a backup from a 2.0?

It gives me a weird signature missing error

no i beleive it will not let u do that... u could get hold of the R1 to R2 upgrade disc's but you will also need an upgrade keycode to go from 1 to 2.

or re-image the R1 HDD with R2 then install the R2 backup.

I've got a Acronis BCM 50 image that fits on a DVD disk at release 2. I tend to use it and then carry out a restore.
