Restore from Novell 3.12 Tape to Windows 2000 Problem

I am having a problem restoring files form and old novell 3.12 tape from a server that died. I have installed Arcserve 2000 in a W2K SP3 server and I can merge my tape, see the session and all the files, no problem. When I try to restore any files or folders to my W2K server (c:\temp), it says it's incomplete and skips the files/folders I selected to restore and restores nothing! No other error messages or security problems. I've tried different tapes and the same problem, I am even using the exact same tape drive my novell 3.12 server used. Does anyone have any idea?

The bottom line is : if you use SMS for Netware backups (and most people do) you cannot restore this data to an ARCserve for Windows version. You have to perform this restore from an ARCserve for Netware version.
