Is there some golden nugget of info on how to take R3 backup translations and attempt to restore to a higher release processor.

Hi Chadoe1,
Yup, upgrade the original processor to the current release and save. Remove the card and do a restore to the new processor. That's why the new backup / restore card will do one upgrade.
If the old processor is blown, do a restore on another processor of the same release and upgrade it, then take the upgraded translations and restore them to the new processor.
If you have already flashed the new processor you will have to save the original program with Remote Administration and reprogram the new one by hand, reading out the old program from Remote Admin. If the old processor is dead and you can't find another of the same release, you have to reprogram the old way. Ask questions and program from scratch.
I really wish we could upgrade the software in Remote Administration like the Magix.

I prefer the Legend way of doing restores.
