Restore file from savvg images to different location

My backup are done with the commmand savvg, like to know can restore file from the backup to other dir

Do you mean i can use restore command to restore file when my backup was done with command SAVVG ?

yes that what ogniemi meant i guess

First cd to the directory of the files to be restored in then just try the below command:

restore -xvqf /dev/rmt0 ./path_of_file/file_to_be_restored
