Hi !
Veritas Netbackup = a never ending story or always a surprise !
On any windows clients we make a file with NTBackup ( this little tool in XP to backup files ).
This generated file named windows_backup.bkf and has a size > 1,5 GB.
This file respond NO errors when it was backuped, but when i restore this file -->
12:47:04 (107710.001) (107710.001) WRN - error writing file: F:\Temp\windows_backup.bkf
12:47:04 (107710.001) (107710.001) WRN - unable to decompress
The filesize from the restored file ist correct, but i cant´t use it.
Whats on ???
Thanks for answering
greets
Holger
P.S.: Backup Server with NetBackup 5.1 on Solaris 9
