Restore exchange Mailbox folder data failes

Arcserve 2000 sp4 backing up a NT4 Exchange 5.5 Server
We are using Exchange agent and doign a brick level backup. I am doing a test to see if the restore feature is working properlay and cannot get it to restore the e-mail within a particular folder.

I have an e-mail folder called Cisco with 3 e-mail's in that folder.

I did a Brick level backup with no errors all successful
I deleted the cisco directory and did a restore.
Restore re-created the cisco directory but not the individual e-mails in that directory.

Any Ideas?

try to recreate a new mailbox, send a mail to it, come to the restore window, select the mailbox to be restored, go to destination, uncheck restore to original location, go thru the network and point to the new mailbox, recycle the backup agent rpc service and submit the job...
