Restore Exchange 5.5 Server using BE8.6

Hi all, I have doubts on restoring Exchange Server with few Site Connectors to another new machine. Need Urgent help on this

May I know will all Site Connectors be restore back to the new machine, using remote restore?

I have read that the BE 8.6 is not supported the Directory Store restoration to other servers than the original server.

Any way to restore the Exchange Server to the new machine,which do not have tape device attached.

Pls do advice.

You should be able to redirect the Information Store to the new server as long as the site, server and organisation name is the same as the original server. The new server must also have a Backup Exec remote agent installed on it.
You are right in not restoring the Directory Store in this scenario (you also cannot redirect a directory store).
