Hi all,

I am using Backup Exec to backup Exchange 2000 server. I am also using active directory. My Exchange 2000 server is down and I am looking for a way to restore Exchange 2000 to a different server. Please let me know if you know a procedure or an article that can help me out.

Thank you very much for the help,

SB

I tried to did that a few mouth ago with Backup Exec.... without any success.... Our database is to big (175gb).
So if you want to rebuild your server on another server...
This is what we did:
We have reinstall win 2k on the crash server... (to rescue de exchange database) So we did a backup of the database with ntbackup. (If you try to transfert throw the network, if your database is to big it will not work)
After that restore your backup to the server. Your new server need to be the same name then the other. You will avoid anyproblems with your database.
This is what we did. And that was a success for us. :)
And now we don't run Backup Exec anymore... We run NetBackup Datacenter! :-D
