Restore discrepancy 2K AS

Hi,

Using the native restore application , I restored a file with the restore increment set to 10,000. When it was restored it was only 1,000.
The increment was set to 10,000 per day but I deleted and restored the file straight away.
Could this be why I have the discrepancy ??
Any help greatly appreciated.
