Hi,

During my experimentation for something else I disabled my own Exchange account by choosing 'Disable' after a right click in Exchange System Manager.

When I wanted to resurrect my account, I assumed (doh) that I could right click and choose 'New Mailbox' then find myself under 'Existing Users' and follow through the rest of the wizard to get my account back....of course, I have a brand new mailbox with no items! Zip.

I gather I should have gone to 'Disconnected Mailboxes' and connected my mailbox up with my user name here....The question is, can I some how restore my account?

We do not delete 'Disabled mailboxes' for 30 days..but I gather this could be a bit of a Shell command?

Thank you for any help!

58sniper you are a LEGEND!!!

Thanks, my mailbox is now fully restored and working.

I had to disable the Mailbox I had created the second time, but this time, went to Disconnected Mailboxes, find my name, right click and then Connect.

Then when working through the wizard, choosing MATCHED users (not existing) restored my account.

Cheers!
