I was wondering if it is possible to restore a dump from a different sql server?

We are going to have 2 sql 2000 servers on the same network. One will be the original and will create the dump files at night. We would like the other one to then restore the dump files in it's database so they are mirrored. Is that possible?

(Please put in laymens terms, I will do my best to try to keep up)

Check out an SQL Server forum instead (this is ANSI/SQL). They'll probably be able to answer you there.

Look here faq962-5754 and ask questions about it in forum962.
