Restore Arcerve 2000 data

hello, im testing my backup on lab environment and i want to restore my exchange 2000 server. first step i need to do is to restore / recover my Arcserve 2000 database since i reinstalled the Arcserve. i took a cassette that have the full backup of the Arcserve database but recovering the data (utilities) or merging it failed. the server name is different then the original name.
any ideas ?

Server name would not make any difference for a Recover or Merge operation. Something else must be going on.

Check the activity log for errors.
