Restore Active directory 2000 to a lab environment

I want to replicate my AD 2000 production environment on a lab network. To do this I want to backup my production domain controller that contains the schema and FSMO roles and restore that identical DC to a machine on the lab network (same name and ip). The lab network would contain only 1 dc. WHat is the best course of action to take?

There are no more PDC's! There are DC's with FSMO roles!
