Restore a single mailbox from a full backup (Not Brick Level)

I just wanted to know if there was an easier way of restoring a single persons mailbox from the information store rather than restoring the entire thing to a backup server and then pulling the messages. I'm trying to restore one folder for one user. I'm using exchange 5.5 and Veritas Backup Exec 9. All windows 2K servers. I found the Aelita recovery manager for exchange software and I'm about to try it out. Does anyone know of similar software or of a procedure that would work.
