Restore a file from an ARCserveIT 6.6 tape & redirect to C:\?

I have cataloged the tape using BackUp Exec. for Windows NT 8.6. I can select the file. I can select C: in the redirect window. The restore job runs 1hr + and completes "successful", but no data is restored.

while restoring there is one option called "preserve tree"

have you unticked that option.
