Hi All,

Can anybody help me with this. I have a scenario here that there are 2 sessions in my Workflow!!!

actual condition is that first session starts then second session should run!!!

But if first session completed successfully & workflow failed on the second session when i restart workflow after correcting the error ,this should start from second session & should completly skip the first one!!!

May be using parameters would help!! but if anyone had similar instances plz help me!!!

Thanking U in advance!!!

Note: this applies to 6.x and up:

There is no automatic way to do what you want in the scheduler - well, with the exception of using recovery sessions, but I haven't done that as it requires some overhead and was overkill - all I wanted to do was restart the workflow at the failed session.

The way I handled it was to write a VB program using the SDK to find the failed session from the log, then use the command line program (pmcmd) to start the workflow at that point. Maybe there's an easier way to get the info from the session log. You can run the workflow from pmcmd and trap the output so when it fails, you could get the failed session name and restart from there.
